Japan’s beloved virtual idol, Hatsune Miku, is partnering with Toyota for a new ad campaign to run in the US nearly one year before Miku’s scheduled stateside debut.

Never heard of Hatsune Miku? Brace yourself. Miku is the world’s first computer pop star. She is computer generated using Vocaloid software and appears to live concert goers as a holographic image up on stage. Yes, really.
