Lulz Security Offers to Help Sega Get Hackers

Sega sent out a newsletter to customers of its  “Sega Pass” system with the following message:

“We have identified that a subset of SEGA Pass members emails addresses, dates of birth and encrypted passwords were obtained. To stress, none of the passwords obtained were stored in plain text.”

Unsurprisingly, LulzSec is now connected to this data breach, just not the way you’d expect:lulzSega
