Blizzard Entertainment showed some love to their millions of World of Warcraft players and upgraded their servers. Now they’re looking for help in spreading some love over to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Blizzard has taken the hundreds of the retired HP Blade servers that tirelessly slaved away creating the and managing the world’s favorite fantasy universe and put them up for auction on eBay. Emblazoned with the World of Warcraft logo, a plaque detailing the server’s name, run dates, and location it managed, and signed by the team, these valiant workhorses that changed the MMO landscape are available as the ultimate collector’s piece for your WoW altar. Best of all, proceeds from the sale will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Get the full detail from Battle.Net, or start bidding on eBay.
