Video: Intel Fakes Ivy Bridge Demo at CES

Whoopsie! Looks like Mooley Eden, general manager of Intel’s PC group, should’ve spent more time rehearsing.

At Intel’s CES 2012 press conference, the chip manufacturing giant put on a supposed demonstration of the integrated graphical prowess of its next generation of CPU. Apparently a room full of tech reporters weren’t supposed to notice the VLC media player control panel that pops up at the beginning of the obviously pre-recorded video or the lack of connection between Eden’s controls and the on-screen action. The assembled reporters, able to contain themselves no more, openly chuckle when Eden steps away from the controls and the car continues driving itself.
