It doesn't click. Its still a Rock Band guitar. The up side is that it is completely silent unlike the Strat. There are some improvements and the electronics seems okay, but still not a Guitar Hero guitar. It also looks a lot prettier than it feels (feels cheap, but has lots of nice bling). There are 2 USB passthru ports on the dongle, so that is FULL OF WIN!. Don't think I will need the usb hub anymore. YAY!
For free, it is a very nice guitar, if not my preferred style.
As a $100 Beatles guitar, it fails horribly and I would have returned it after picking it up once.
I don't really want mechanical buttons in a kitchen PC ;) Something with a nice glass covered touchscreen seems the way to go. I hate cleaning the occasional bit of lunch that finds its way onto my keyboard.
WOW, THE NEW ROCK BANK GUITARS DON'T CLICK EITHER. THE BUTTONS ARE PROBABLY SILENT TOO. IT'S A SHAME THAT THEY PUT OUT CRAPPY STUFF FOR THAT MUCH (THANKS TO THE TIE IN..)
YEAH, GLASS WOULD PROBABLY BE CLEANER IN THE KITCHEN. SEALED KEYBOARDS, PERHAPS? MRMPHENH..
TOUCHSCREEN SMUCHSCREEN! TACTILE INTERFACES THAT MAKE LITTLE CLICKY SOUNDS! LIKE A FULL WIRELESS KEYBOARD WITH LCD MOUNTED ON WALL/BRACKET.
ReplyDeleteIS THAT MORE FUTURISTIC? PROBABLY NOT. EASIER TO E-MAIL HYPERLINKED REPORTS ABOUT DINNER TO THE LIVING ROOM - ABSOLUTELY.
TRACKBALL TOO.
DON'T REPLACE PERIPHERALS WITH TOUCH-SCREEN, ADD THEM TO TOUCH-SCREEN.
OH, CONGRATS ON THE LENNON GUITAR! LIZ SAID SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO USE THE NON-CLICKY STRATOCASTER ANYMORE.
ReplyDeleteANOTHER POINT FOR THE CLICKY.
